In early trading on Friday, shares of Seagate Technology ( STX ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 3.8%. Year to date, Seagate Technology registers a 21.6% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Facebook ( FB ), trading down 4.0%. Facebook is showing a gain of 2.2% looking at the year to date performance. Two other components making moves today are NVIDIA Corp ( NVDA ), trading down 0.9%, and Dollar Tree ( DLTR ), trading up 3.0% on the day.
