BUENOS AIRES, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Argentina registered a trade deficit of $1.083 billion in August, the government statistics agency Indec said on Tuesday, the largest deficit this year.
Imports of consumer goods rose 42 percent from the previous year while passenger vehicle imports rose 37.7 percent from a year earlier. Overall exports fell 9.2 percent from a year earlier, Indec said.
Indec revised the July trade deficit to $785 million from $798 million previously reported.
